Digital Logic Design for BS program

Digital Logic Design also known as DLD is a tricky course to start building any creative idea.As it helps in understanding in learning digital logic using gates. We may require some software like multisim to draw and design our projects.

Things you will cover in this  course:

  • Number Systems,
  •  Logic Gates,
  • Boolean Algebra,
  •  Combination logic circuits and designs, Simplification Methods K-Maps,
  • Quinne, Mc-Cluskey,,

  • Flops and Latches,
  • Asynchronous and Synchronous circuits,
  • Counters, Shift
  • Registers, Shift Registers Counters,
  • Triggered devices & its types. Binary
  • Arithmetic and Arithmetic Circuits,
  • Memory Elements, State Machines.
  • Introduction Programmable Logic Devices (CPLD, FPGA); Lab Assignments
  • using tools such as Verilog HDL/VHDL,
